Quick Chicken Curry Recipe

Here we have a quick chicken curry recipe for those of you with very little time on your hands. It takes no longer than 35 minutes from start to finish. Unless of course you have to catch the chicken first!

This recipe serves 6 - 8 people. Adjust it to suit you needs.

Cooking and preperation time: 35 minutes


  • 4 cups chicken, chopped into one inch pieces

  • 1 medium onion chopped

  • 1 green pepper, chopped

  • 2 tsp. vegetable oil

  • 2 500g tins of chopped tomatoes

  • 1 1/2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 3 tsp. curry powder

  • 4 tbsp freshly chopped parsley

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • 4 cups Basmati rice (one cup per person)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

TIP: Add some chilli powder to add a little heat.

Start cooking the rice following this method (or your own).

Fry the onion, galric powder and pepper in some oil untill the onion looses it's colour.

Add the chicken and all of the other ingredients to the pan (not the rice lol).

Cook gently for about 20 - 25 minutes or until the chicken is cooked. Serve over the rice.
