 Agonda BeachAgonda is one of the nicest Indian Beaches and consists of a beautiful and usually fairly empty stretch of white sand and a couple of wooden shacks about 8 miles from the busy Palolem beach.
The wide stretches of sand in Arambol make the perfect backdrop for a stay on the beach. The quiet village in the far North of Goa makes a very friendly and quiet retreat. The party centre of Goa, Anjuna is also affectionately dubbed as freak capital of the world since the hippy invasion back in the 70's. The Home of sand, sun and party... Baga beach is one of the most popular beaches in Goa, India's favorite tourist destination. The place consists of a beautiful beach and a quiet, flat sandy beach. Chapora is another beach in Goa and another one of the more popular tourist desinations in India and also happens to be a great place to just relax and forget the world... Colva and Benaulim are two fantastically quiet and chilled out beaches in Goa right n ext door to each other. Benaulim with its quiet little village and deserted beach and then Colva with its watersports, bars and parties.
It is said that by simply entering Gokarna all of your sins are washed away. It certainly feels a little like that as you arrive at the secluded and deserted beaches.
The picturesque beaches at Kovalam offer the perfect balance of doing nothing and doing everything.
The long, crescent shaped beach at Palolem is the perfect destination for relaxing and watching time go by but finely balanced with excellent parties and happy people. The magical atmosphere and striking sunsets at Puri beach have made this beach famous around the world. Puri is also surrounded by ancient temples making it the perfect destination for culture vultures. Relaxation is the name of the game at this, perhaps the most picturesque of India beach in Kerala. Relax in one of the cliff top restaurants and reflect upon a stunning sunset.  Vagator BeachVagator beach has go to be one of the most interesting beach in Goa with loads of weird and wonderful things going on all the time And there's still more to come...I don't think that this page will ever be completely finished as there are thousands of fantastic tourist destinations in India but I am aware at the moment it is no where near comprehensive.
